Description:The judges made loud reference to the recent scandal surrounding the actor Charlie Sheen and local headline-maker Grant Storms, a Christian fundamentalist arrested earlier this month on one count of obscenity for allegedly pleasuring himself in a van near a Metairie park. All of the various celebrations throughout the world are unique; however, there is one common element: That included Greg Patton and his famiiy. As important, the celebrations are a symbol of unity and solidarity, and provide a vehicle to demonstrate the unique personality and characteristics that make up the very diverse GLBT populations of the world. The community has united with pride, determination and diversity under its colors. The New Orleans Convention and Vistitors Bureau said city hotels were packed to near capacity this weekend, continuing into Monday night.
